The police have registered a case in reference to the illegal meeting of hundreds of buyers of a multi-level advertising and marketing agency on the L&T bypass of the Salem Kochi freeway in Coimbatore on Monday.
A senior police officer mentioned the meeting of over 7,000 individuals, principally buyers of the MLM agency ‘My V3 Adverts’ towards which the police registered a case for alleged irregularities, crippled the regulation and order scenario. Additionally, the unprecedented meeting of individuals in hundreds on the arterial bypass prompted site visitors blocks.
The officer mentioned the individuals assembled on a vacant land on the aspect of the bypass close to Neelambur on the directions of the managing director of the agency, Sakthi Anandan. The managing director had posted a number of movies on his YouTube channel, instructing buyers to assemble on the location to protest towards the police case.
The Metropolis Crime Department of the Coimbatore Metropolis Police registered a case towards the agency and its proprietors on January 19, based mostly on a grievance lodged by a cybercrime police sub-inspector, based mostly on ads and movies posted by the agency by way of its YouTube channel.
